These craft ciders are not like anything you will be able to find in supermarkets in the UK, they are specialist small batch products that have been chosen for their quality.
This Months Cider Box Includes:
1: Bushel Peck - Perry - ABV 6.4%
A well crafted, delicate, perry with its natural sweetness well balanced with some acidic twang.
It's made from a blend of perry pears, including Moorcroft (aka Stinking Bishop), Judge Amplett and Butt gathered from gardens and traditional orchards scattered all over Gloucestershire.
2: Hallets Real Cider - ABV 6%
Hallets Real Cider is a sparkling medium cider made with 50% aged Dabinett.
3: Harrys Original Dry - ABV 6%
Harry's Original Dry is our original blend of bittersweet apples grown in our own orchards, balancing flavours beautifully, with just the right amount of tannin, and displaying the great character you would expect from traditional Somerset cider apple varieties.
4: Lyne Down Organics - Medium - ABV 6%
Lyne Down Organics medium cider is crafted from 100% apple juice pressed from handpicked apples grown in our traditional organic orchard on the edge of Marcle Ridge in South Herefordshire, an area famous for cider making over the centuries.
Our cider is produced in small batches using natural yeasts to ferment the apple juice. Blended from a wide variety of cider apples to create a refreshing, clear and well balanced cider packed with flavour.
5: Once Upon a Tree, Dry - ABV 5%
With apples from Dragon Orchard's 22 acre, 90 year old orchards, we make our ciders using traditional methods – for this our ciders and perries have been accredited PGI status.
Gently sparkling, bushels of apple flavour, soft tannins & a clean lengthy finish. Great with burgers, fish & chips and roast veg.
6: Ty Gwyn, Kingston Black - ABV 5.8%
Previous iteration of this medium dry cider won a 2-gold-star Great Taste Award, so this new version is standing on the shoulders of a giant.
It features locally grown Kingston Black apples (a variety referred to by cider guru Andrew Lea as “allegedly the perfect cider apple”) which fermented beautifully, and helped make this a medium-dry cider that hits all the right notes.
Please be aware that the ciders within this box maybe switch for ciders of equivalent quality and cost.
