Grown-up Rose Cider!
Always keen to experiment, with inspiration from the US craft cider scene, this is just one of a batch of co-ferments.
This is a 100% full juice cider using Dabinett apples co-fermented with our red wine grape skins – no water, no colourings, no concentrates are used.
Vibrant dark pink, in appearance. Aromas of Strawberry, honey, hints of vanilla spice and toffee apple. On the palate an excellent fusion of red berry fruits from the Pinot and apple richness from the Dabinett apples gives the palate a huge mouthful of fruit, enlivened by the gentle spritz.
The complex of soft grape and apple tannins give this co-ferment a grown up, sophisticated approach, with huge length and a soft dry finish. Delicious with seared scallops, or match with salmon or lobster, also works well with duck and rare cooked lamb
