ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
Severn Cider is a multi-award-winning artisan cider and perry makers.
They make whole juice draught and bottled ciders and perry using locally grown apples and pears. Since 1956 we have been making cider at their family home and now cider mill. Set within 4 acres of heritage orchards and established gardens, we are situated on the banks of the River Severn in Awre, the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
They continue to enrich the area and grow by planting cider apple and perry pear trees in new orchards in Blakeney, home of the famous Blakeney Red Perry pear.
A crisp and full flavour dry sparkling cider, very refreshing on the palate and made from selected local apples.
"It has a slight sweet initial taste and feels fairly tarty with like an apple skin taste. There’s a slightly dry after taste with some acidity and nice tannins. I do quite like this, even if it does have a different funky taste." (the cider blog)

"It’s a clear rich orange colour with a slight sparkle, also there’s a fresh apple juice aroma with a good tannic hit too - definitely smells like proper cider!
You very much get more of those tannins, a bit of farmyard funk in there and some acidity too. It’s real dry with a tannic and tangy finish." (Cider George)
